The Catered Word was established in 1989 from New York’s renowned gourmet food shop Word of Mouth. We have been serving our clients with retail food deliveries, specializing in our full service catering company.
In 2003 we were fortunate enough to acquire a space at the Chinese Scholar Garden in Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Based in a cottage built in the 1860s, we were able to provide breakfast, lunch and dinners for visitors as well as the locals. Named Cafe Botanica, it was a well known eatery for the length of its establishment.
